On Wednesday 20th January 2010 the 8 students who visited Gambia in December 2009 will be giving a presentation on their trip in the ILS Seminar Room (First floor) at 19:00.
The talk is entitled “Holey Feet and a Hole Lot More!” and will include various aspects of their experiences there. In particular, it will touch upon the structure of the health care system in the Gambia, history of the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital and the medical school, especially the link that exists with Cuba. Clinical cases will also form part of the talk, in particular reflections upon these.
The talk will last around 1 hour and afterwards there will be tea, coffee and a chance to chat and ask the students questions. All are welcome.
