The Swansea-Gambia Link Charity held a bonfire bonanza to raise money. They hosted a house party with mulled wine, roasted marshmallows and sparklers and then headed down to the beach to enjoy the firework display in Swansea bay! It was an amazing time and £100 was raised for the charity.
The new 2019-2020 Gambia Link Society started their fundraising year on the sweet side with a Halloween Bake Off. Some incredible cakes were brought in and judged by our very own Paul Hollywood (Carl!), and it was Lauren who won a much coveted handshake as well as a free ticket to the Winter Ball. It was …
It’s been a day of emotional goodbyes today, with Fatoumatta leaving this afternoon and our goodbye potluck lunch for everyone! These last two weeks have gone so fast; thank you so much to our colleagues for the beautiful painting!
Very sadly its coming to the end of our exchange student’s visit for this year, so we thought we would take the opportunity to look back over the past couple of weeks.
